Improving future commutes 

We created a Future of Commuting Toolkit that examined the key forces shaping how we’ll travel to work in tomorrow’s cities.

Why?

To show companies how technological, sociological and economical changes will transform jobs, workplaces and commuting by 2030.

How?

We identified the social, technological, environmental, economic and political (STEEP) factors influencing consumer behaviour, and interviewed British, French and American experts in mobility, safety, consumer behaviour, and economics. We also collaborated with the Transport Systems Catapult (TSC) to extract relevant insights from their UK traveller needs survey. Finally, we created the toolkit (Future Forces, Future Personas, Day-in-the-life Journeys) then ran workshops training clients how to use the toolkit to generate innovative products and services.
