10 types of innovation or the business model canvas?

Which innovation framework, the 10 types of innovation or the business model canvas, is more useful in helping people realise that 'innovation' isn't just about a product (or service)?

I've been pondering this question since I suggested that a client look at both frameworks. While doing my own research in early 2015, I was surprised that no one had published (or at least made freely available) a comparison of the 10 types of innovation and the 9 building blocks of the business model canvas. So I attempted a mapping and here's what I found.
